| That rock night at Blue finished a while back which is a shame because I never got to go. I have heard that they're refurbishing (again!) and that they may be having some alt.nights. Fingers crossed! |

| Has recently re-opened as Spire Bar. Full of townies but they don't seem to mind the Goths. I've never had any trouble and they seem to relish a few friendly weirdoes in there. Cheap (at the weekends) to get in compared to other places. Entrance fee does depend on the bouncers and whether they like the look of you. Drink prices expensive, around 3 quid a pint. They do only seem to play chart and R&B but it's worth going in there to collapse in their big leather sofas and chill out with friends. |
