| Description | One of the best places in the North East to catch bands. Rock nights are regular, there are often quite nifty Free Band showcases and the monthly Comedy nights are always fun.
Bands for Goths to take note of that have been here or are on their way? The Damned played on their last tour, as did All About Eve and Leechwoman are on early October. Normally cheap entrance fee and excellently priced drinks (Happy hour 7.30-8.30).
The place also opens for lunch on weekdays.
If you are a musician, they have cheap and excellently furnished rehearsal rooms upstairs as well as state-of-the-art recording equipment.
There is an added bonus that this place was converted from a church, meaning that the place has quite a nice, cosy, Gothic-y look to it as well. |
