Description | This is *NOT* a goth club however thwere is a rock night on Mondays.
The DJ is the same as the main room in rockworld and so can be convinced into playing some rammstien, a little Ultraviolence (Adultery or Massochist) and Twisted..
If your looking for old goth and/or 80s then forget it..
N.B. Monday is the *only* rock night.. |
Opening Hours | 9-2am Monday. |

| was amusing once when i was 16ish....bouncy dancefloor....really expensive bar, full of slipknot hoody types, and the playlist generally goes along the lines of MTV2 with the inevitable repeats. |

| It's OK for a laugh as there is little else on on a Monday night. If you become a member entrance is only £1 too |

| Anyone over 18 will feel distinctly old. Still, its the first club most of us go to in Manchester and still going strong after about 18yrs. It just picks up each generation of alternative kids and whatever is flavour de jour, presently nu-metal, hip-hop, some happy hardcore etc. |

| Not bad for a pretty cheap night out 'coz they have loads of drinks promotions on a Monday night now but it's full of kids and doesn't play great music. It's a laugh though and not too bad if you don't go during school holidays. |

| yup. 3 4 1 on bottles. what they don't tell you is the bottles cost £2.50 to £3 each!!! is ok if you are going with several mates and spend all night cooped up at a table upstairs (downstairs is a nightmare!), but apart from that, forget it. also, if you do go, never, EVER leave your drink unattended for even a split-second. there are scum in there who apparently find it "amusing" to spike drinks and watch the resulting effects. |

| Aww the ritz isnt *that* bad! The music leaves a lot to be desired at times but if youre stuck for somewhere to go on a Monday after The Attic its prolly the best bet...and if youre drunk enough anywhere seems good ;) |

| This may be a contoversial comment, but i believe this is becoming one of the better nights out. No pits and no angry youths to contend with....it's almost a propoer rock club, unlike kitch and the way jilly's is becoming. |

| i really liked ritz when i went, although we did spend the entire night upstairs making fun of the rock kids trying to dance, but still, cheap and cheerfull and there's no pushing on the dancefloor. thats what i like. |
