| As Orcus said, it's a generally excellent night. Big dancefloor, good mix of people, good mix of music (less trad goth than it used to be - the odd bit of APB and Wolfsheim is creeping in), great atmoshpere.
The only vaguely negative thing I've got to say is that the soft drinks are pretty nasty - which can be a bit hard on the designated drivers.
It's also worth noting that the Fan Club has a range of horribly dangerous cocktails on sale at relatively cheap prices - "Jedi Juice" being the most infamous. Approach with care...

| The bleepy stuff is now more than
just 'creeping in'.... However, there is
still plenty of trad stuff. The mix is just
right. I just visited
as the homecoming part of my week's
holiday in England, and was made
welcome and introduced to faces old
and new by Orcus, the father of the
house... DJ takes requests on paper
like in other bastions of the scene,
but is less likely to play or even have
the tracks you ask for. However, it's
good to see that Leicester is still home
to dancing of an extremely vertical
nature, and that the frilly shirt brigade
are not homeless north of Islington... |
