| Dark, damp, sweaty, beers good
atmosphere's good enjoyable night out, but if you are of a claustrophobic nature it may not be a suitable venue for you, as it can get hot and very busy! All round though a good place to be! |

| The music can be a bit up-n-down on occaision, but Wednesday nights tends to have all kinds of music. Ranging from the Pixies, to Aphex Twin, to Kylie, Eminem, the Prodigy, Gary Numan, Depeche Mode.. A real mix of music, and a real mix of people. Tends to be a really fun night. Beer tends to be a bit expensive though. |

| We stumbled upon the Casbah on a Saturday a few weeks back... the music was pretty kewl [in our minds anyway], lots of cock-rock and loads of smiths :op Seemed to have an older crowd, my friend was snogged by a random middle aged woman lol.. I seem to remember two vodka and cokes coming to over a fiver though...... not good |

| Me and the blokee went along to Sheffield on New Years for a change from Manchester. We ended up here and it was seriously naff, although we were advised by a very friendly fetish couple that it was a different DJ on. He simply didn't know what I was talking about and asked me who Rob Zombie was!!! hmmm. Downstairs shut at 11.50 and we were forced to join the indie kids upstairs...great. |

| as u can see from my mini-review of gloominati@the casbah i mostly agree with what others have said, this place is alright for maybe a drink and a relax on the sofas but for a really lengthy night out i'd avoid, the drink can be VERY expensive and the music can sometimes be dire e.g. gangster rap etc:p
Also, downstairs loos=no paper, locks or looseats:p |

| I was in Sheffield for a couple of days and I Went here one night and UK Subs, Vibrators, and a few other bands were playing live in the downstairs room. Both upstairs and downstairs are very small and get crowded very easily. Not the best venue I've ever been to, to put it politely. |

| Not a bad little place, open until late if you want a long night out, but the music is "questionable" to say the least. |
