| Description | Schirmish is the current rock/nu-metal/alternative night on at Oxygen on Wednesdays. Although not primarily goth-orientated it's very accomodating and goth bands can and will be playing on a Wednesday night.
Usually only ~50 people in at best, however with free entry until 11:30 and drinks starting at 50p for a bottle of Carlsberg or shot of vodka/whiskey you can't really complain if there's nothing else to go to on a midweek night =) |

| It doesn't matter how Goth-orientated it is, 50p a shot is great. Its the same pricewise on Thursdays, except the DJ has been know to play Britney Spears (for a bet) there are lots of skaters and gothic wannabys though, including me (I'm the gimp in the headband). |

| As has already established; it isn’t Gothy. _But_ it is one of the few (decent) Rock nights in Lex at this time. Lets see ... a nugget a bottle/double; good music, from Old Skool right the way up to _some_ Nu; very accommodating DJ (he’s more than happy to play a bit of Rammstein – so that makes me v.happy); a good friendly crowd. All in all a fine way to spend a midweek night (if you have little in the way of commitments on the following Thursday of course).
If you like Rock, do it. Not got much else to choose from in Lex.

| It was pretty good last night, but we were out celebrating something, so the drinks were flowing. Bit worrying to see flyers for the 'techno' night that happened last Saturday... is this the way it's going to go when it's sold? it'll be really sad to see a place I've been going to for 15 years disappear! any old rock music is better than techno!! |

the techno night the week before 3 people turned up all night....
its cuz retributions on so they need a differnt crowd of people to go to traz i guess, they tried indie didnt they? but hey fan club would kill it for that.
but hey maybe an old skool rock/metal night might attrack the people from the old skool room in nation? cuz that always seems quite busy. |
