| Description | Damned Nation happens on a couple of Saturday Nights each week (ring the venue for times). It's not strictly a Goth night, but does draw a large part of the local Goth contingent. The Venus has three parts - a main room with a superb P.A. and about 2000 capacity, a smaller room with plenty of seats, and a chill out area with a fast food bar. Music ranges from alternative guitar stuff to full on industrial and crossover metal. The smaller room plays classic 70s-90s rock and alternative. Great atmosphere, decent prices, and a good spread of music makes this well worth a visit. Make sure you get there before 11pm though as it's almost always at capacity by then, and make sure you order large rounds because the two bars are always crammed! £4 on the door or £3 in advance. |

| damned nation is the best night out in leicester! this is probley coz its only once a month, so all the alturnatives of leicester crawl out of the wood work. the music is everything alturnative and because its at the uni drinks r £1.25 a pint!!!!!!! so go down 2 rock-a-boom and get ur self a ticket. |

| A good night out.The music is good although alot of skater type rock is played in the main room but there still plenty of good tunes. The bar staff are next to useless and unless you shout and wave your arms around you could be at the bar for hours.The best thing to do is have a few drinks before you go and spend your time at Nation on the dance floor. |

| this nite varies, some times its great, dj plays rammstein/sisters of mercy/ and other greats but other times it can be very nu-rock, luckily with the seperate classic rock room, there is always something listenable, now open up 3rd bar, so drinks not that hard 2 get, but hey save time, drink in advance, and buzz round on a sugahigh - best nite out |
