| Description | Misery Of Sound is a Goth/Deathrock/Horrorpunk Club night based in sunny Blackpool.
The club was set up by DJ Grimly Fiendish to try and give people something different to Blackpool's run of the mill alternative music/club/band nights, as there are plenty of punk and metal events that already exist. Since the club nights started, in 2005 uder a different name [DIY and Dirty] We have had such bands play as: Zeitgeist Zero-11th of October 05 [Blackpool Debut] Screaming Banshee Aircrew- March 06 [Blackpool Debut] Pink Hearse- March 06 Katscan- May 06 [Blackpool Debut] Devilish Presley- June 06 [Blackpool Debut] UFX- June 06 Action Directe [to play 14th July] We also held Album release parties for Katscan's latest album 'Weapons of Crass Dysfunction',All Gone Dead's 'Fallen and Forgotten' and Strobelight Records compilation the popular Goth/Deathrock 'New Dark Age vol4. Club night run roughly every 1/2 months every 2nd or 3rd Friday check website for details. |
